Congratulations - We send out a big congratulations to our 2nd grade who made their First Holy Communion on Sunday. Congratulations to: Mya Bristol, Tori Burger, Carolyne Cork, Nicholas Dirnberger, Camden Essner, Tyler Green, Jasmine Lee, Audrey LeGrand, Laurel Mack, Blake Scherer, Drew Silman, Kendyl Stuckey
Self Study - The visiting team for our self study will be here Sunday, April 22 - Tuesday, April 24. They will be conducting interviews and visiting classrooms and making observations. Thank you to all those who helped on a committee, your help was very much appreciated. We will have an all school Mass on Monday, April 23. I am asking that the students do not use a dress down pass on Monday or Tuesday of next week.
Rummage Sale - Our rummage sale is scheduled for April 28. The 1st and 2nd grade parents are in charge of this event but we will need others to help out. There are signup sheets in the back of church and attached to the newsletter, if you find a spot that you are able to help, please let the office know. If you have any questions you may contact the office or Michelle Scherer. Friday, April 27 we will start setting up at 9:00 and work until complete, if you could come by anytime, no matter how long, during the day on Friday it would be much appreciated You may bring your items for the rummage sale the week of the rummage sale, please have your items there by Thursday afternoon.
National Pro-Life T-shirt Day – Friday, April 27th is National Pro-Life T-shirt Day. If the students have a pro-life t-shirt they purchased this year, or from in years past they may wear it that day with jeans. If they do not have a pro-life t-shirt they will need to wear dress code.
Mid-Quarter – Last Friday marked mid-quarter for the 4th quarter. Grades will be sent home on Friday, April 20th. Please sign them and return them to school.
Dismissal - You may have noticed that we have some of our older students who help with dismissal, opening and closing doors for the younger students. It has been brought to my attention that many times we sit the younger students in the front seat and we should not be doing this. From now on when we are helping the younger students into vehicles we will open the back door for them to enter the vehicle, for safety and law abiding reasons.
Teacher Opening - We will have a part time teaching position open for the 2012-2013 school year. If you know anyone that may be interested please pass along this information. We are very much in the planning stage for next year, as we begin to make decisions we will pass along that information.
No After School Care - There will be no after school care on Friday, April 27 due to set up for the rummage sale, May 11 due to set up for Graduation, May 16 after play
